The 1889ERS Society has had an historical display at the Will Rogers World airport for over 20 years. The display had to be dismantled in 2004 because of new construction at the airport. Airport construction is now complete and it is time for a new historical exhibit. It has been recognized by the Oklahoma Capitol Complex and Centennial Commoration Commission as an official Oklahoma Centennial Exhibit.

The 1889ERS Board and Membership approved the new exhibit at the Christmas meetings on December 9, 2006. It is an interactive video exhibit sponsoredby The 1889ERS Society featuring many of the historical sites and organizations in central Oklahoma... The Oklahoma Territory and, coincidentally, the area served by Will Rogers World Airport. |
